French Toast
2 eggs
½ c. milk
1 slice of bread per person (whole wheat)
1 tsp. vanilla
1. In a shallow bowl, using a fork, beat the eggs.
2. Beat in the milk and vanilla.
3. Preheat the electric skillet or frying pan. Add a little margarine, if necessary
4. Carefully dip each piece of bread into the egg mixture. Do not soak it.
5. Cook the slices until golden brown, turning only once. Serve hot with syrup or powdered sugar.
